D’Vorzon invites viewers into an undersea
realm, in which floating forms are expressed
in liquid color. One of the hallmarks of underwater
space is the diffusion of light, and the artist
has captured that effect. The slightly disorienting
quality is heightened by the lack of fixed reference
points. Everything is in flux as unseen currents
seem to exert their random influence. These
are not vast stormy oceans, but the more intimate
coves and inlets of coastal waters where land
and sea interact.
